Could picture books secretly hide game ideas?
Game facilitators from the Toy Library at Hong Kong Central Library will use the storyline of the picture book 'What to Do If You Get Lost?' along with simple materials to create various fun games, encouraging families and children to actively engage with the story.
Target: Children aged 4 to 8 and one parent per child
Capacity: 20 families
Language: Cantonese
Fee: Free
1. Registration opens: 1:00 PM, September 9, 2026.
2. Registration is under the child's name. First come, first served; capacity limited.
3. Both sessions have identical content and are organized per child; each child must be accompanied by one parent.
4. Each child may attend only one session per day, including both the parent-child game workshop and playtime.
5. Successful registrants will receive an email with event details prior to the event. (Emails may be redirected to spam or junk folders; please check accordingly.)
6. Registered participants must check in at the Toy Library 10 minutes before their scheduled session. If not checked in within 5 minutes after the session begins, the spot will be reassigned to a standby participant.
7. For hygiene reasons, all users (including children) must wear socks to remain inside the Toy Library.
